Dr. Elaine Salinger graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Veterinary School in 1979, and she has been practicing at White Ivie Pet Hospital since 1986. The practice of veterinary medicine is her passion. And her practice philosophy is that she takes very good care of the animals and equally good care of the people who live with her patients understanding that each family member is deeply connected with each other. She cares for dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, and rodents.
She lives is San Mateo with her husband, 2 teenage children, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, and a cat. When she is not at the hospital, you can find her studying yoga, Vipassana meditation, and Tai Kwon Do. And when she is not doing any of these things, you might look for her climbing the wall at Planet Granite in Belmont. Dr Salinger became the owner of White Ivie Pet Hospital in 2003 when Dr Ivie retired. She now balances her time between seeing her patients, training the staff, and management of the hospital. |
