Mariah lives in San Bruno with her husband, daughter, and five furry kids: 4 cats and a dog.
She grew up with cats and always had a curiosity about animals and has chosen
to dedicate her life to their welfare. She learned husbandry and care for birds, reptiles, rodents, fish, cats, and dogs from working at a pet store. She then moved to a large boarding kennel and became a certified Animal Care Specialist.
Mariah joined White Ivie Pet Hospital in 2006 and is training to be an RVT through the hospital's ongoing program of on-the-job, one-on-one training, teaching DVDs, online courses, and in-house training from specialists. She loves what she does and is happy that she can share her compassion with her family, our patients and her coworkers.
